System Engineer under contract to PierCon’s various clients:

• PierCon: Verizon Wireless contract June–August 2015
Specified antenna locations for cellular network Distributed Antenna System
installations.
Performed continuous-wave “drive tests” to verify signal-strength estimates
for such antenna sites.

• PierCon: Motorola Solutions contract April 2012–June ’15
Used legacy telephony technology to extend the NYPD’s radio system with
a second dispatch center as part of New York City’s ECTP-II project,
following the Rational Unified Process (RUP).
Created fault-tolerant audio routing system designs for various NYPD
system types and presented design options to customer; had primary
responsibility for several circuit designs.
Designed acceptance-test procedure templates for all system types and
taught other team members how to expand these templates for the systems
under their responsibilities.
Updated legacy in-house software tools for management of per-system
punch-block data.
Collaborated with internal drafting team to draw circuit schematics
using AutoCAD & in-house tools, with the SCADA engineering team to
specify audio path redundancy and fail-over, with the vendor who built
the physical implementation, and with the staging team to prepare for
the acceptance tests.
Assisted local office during company migration to Google for Work
infrastructure.

• PierCon: Jones Lang LaSalle contract January–April 2013
During hiatus from the Motorola contract, set up alert management software
for client’s new in-building radio systems at two locations.
Assisted the physical installation and provided technical support afterward.

Developed software in support of the GTS electronic trading system using
C, C++, SQL, & Bash, adding functionality & fixing bugs, following
