EXPERIENCE:

WIPP (URS) Carlsbad, NM Sr Electrical Engineer SME 04/14 to 10/16
Was employed by URS as a Subject Mater Expert Electrical Engineer to the Engineering Department at WIPP. My main responsibility included retrofitting, specification, scope of work, procedures, design, documentation and architecture of electrical equipment used in a new Interim Ventilation System (IVS). The IVS supplied fresh air for all personnel working in the mine. Some of the electrical equipment consist of the following: SEL relays and Ion Power Monitoring Meters for used in Switch Gear, ABB 500kVA Transformers, Eaton MCC’s, ABB 550 VFD’s, AB 1756,1715 redundancy safety rated PLC’s and Rosemont Instrumentation. All equipment was SIL 2 rated where required. I also attended all FAT’s, held design meetings and instructed other WIPP personal. I was reasonable for testing, start-up and operations of IVS. Contract ended due to lack of funding from DOE.

Caterpillar CPGS Group, Houston, Tx Sr Electrical Engineer 03/13 to 01/14
Working on contract as a Sr Electrical Engineer in charge of a 65MW Power Plant Project for a Company in Alberta, Canada. Selected the Vendors to provide and approved all Med Voltage, PCR, Controls, Instrumentation and Automation used on the Project. This included site visits to both Canada and Germany. Contract will expire Jan. 2014

Company was very small and could provide enough work to afford a Sr Electrical Engineer on the pay roll. This was a contract position.

Was in charge of Feed studied needed for upcoming shut down. Work consist of meeting with Management of Company, Staff, Engineers and E/I personal. Provided information to various vendors and upcoming work schedule in Microsoft Project. Was informed that Contract would expire 1st of July. This was a contract position.

Expertise was needed due to over load of Electrical Projects .Attended meetings with Engineering Staff, Clients and other Team Members. Outlined work to be completed, time frame, budget and other outside contractors that would be used to complete the Projects. Wrote SOP and other Engineering Documentation. This was a Contract position during Project overload.

PROJECT DESIGN GROUP Mobile, AL E/I Manager 09/11 to 02/12
PDG does work in the Oil/Gas, Paper Mills, Chemical Plants and other fields. PDG is a small full service Engineering Company. I am responsible for all E/I work with a staff of 2 Electrical Engineers and 4 Electrical Designers. Work consist of Project Management, devolvement of a E/I Staff, Team meetings and working with Clients. This was a contract position in which my expertise was need due to new Projects.
ASCEND MATERIALS Decatur, AL Lead Instrumentation Engineer 04/11 to 08/11
Contractor implementing front end engineering for major expansion of a large Chemical Plant. Duties consist
of developing Instrument list, Loop diagrams, I/O list, SOW, Estimation of cost and walk down of area. Implement and help to instruct a new Delta V system with Charms and SIS replacing an old Fisher Profox DCS. Conduct meetings with Plant personnel and other team members. Contract was completed .

MATRIX SERVICE COMPANY Tulsa, OK SR Electrical Engineer Manager 07/08 to 02/09
Was hired by Matrix as full time Senior Electrical Engineer after completing a project at the LNG
Plant in Port Arthur, TX. My duties at the Corporate Office were to be the only source for company wide
electrical and instrumentation referring to any and all Projects that required my knowledge. While at Matrix, I developed numbering and file system for all electrical projects, wrote electrical standards and SOP’s . Returned to Port Arthur and supervised the electrical repairs caused by IKE. Matrix could not break into the Electrical Engineering field and I was laid off.

TRILLIUM CONSTRUCTION (Matrix Service Company) Port Arthur, TX E/I Manager 11/07 to 06/08
I was a contractor to Matrix Service Company as an E/I Electrical Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities included all E/I design, installation, calibration, walk down and turn over to Client three Tanks. Tanks had the capacity of 2.6 Bcf/d. Supervised two Field Engineers other sub-contractors along with sixty-two Electrical and twenty-five personnel under my direction. Served as the only Electrical Engineer on Staff for Matrix. Attended Staff meetings, Conducted E/I Construction meetings and Client meetings. Provided documentation concerning all E/I material used during construction to Client. Followed all DOE, NEC, ISA, IEEE and other Federal Codes on this Project. Contract completed and hired by Matrix
