Business Development and Clinical Affairs
• OmniGuide developed a flexible, multilayer photonic bandgap (PBG) hollow waveguide/fiber, tuned to transmit the CO2 Laser wavelength, for soft tissue cutting, ablation and coagulation, medical applications.
• Performed Validation Testing and Emulation, to determine efficacy of the Fiber, and associated delivery systems, in each clinical application.
• Performed Field Studies, to initially put the system through its application, to determine how to further optimize all aspects of the solution, including the Engineering of fiber delivery systems. This entails, attending many surgeries with the Thought Leaders of each clinical specialty.
