Over 20 years experience in the United States Air Force and over 25 years experience in satellite and ground systems operations. Held positions of responsibility in satellite communications program management, programmatic policies and procedures, quality assurance evaluation, terminal management, operations and maintenance of both tactical and strategic communications. Experience as a Global Positioning System Navigation Analyst at the GPS Operations Center (GPSOC. Provided technical support to the Warfighter through strategic, operational, and tactical level GPS performance prediction, accuracy and performance analysis, and interference evaluations. Provided technical assistance to GPS users in the civil and aviation communities as part of a support agreement with the U.S. Coast Guard and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for performance analysis, troubleshooting assistance, and inter-agency support for GPS interference at the GPS Operations Center, (GPSOC). Processed hundreds of Global Positioning System Prediction, Post Assessment, Visibility, and Jammer Prediction products. Performed GPS Reported Anomaly (RAA) studies, processed GPS Space Support Requests (SSR’s) and GPS Requests For Information (RFI). Briefed 2SOPS crews regarding user operations, global GPS performance and combat effectiveness of the GPS constellation of satellites.

50th SW / 4th Space Operations Squadron

Provide enterprise-wide space systems configuration management, data management, and engineering for Protected SATCOM systems at 4th Space Operations. Served as System Matter Expert (SME) for Mission Planning Subsystem (MPSS), Virtual Private Network (VPN) operations. Helped to troubleshoot Virtual Private Network (VPN) connectivity from 4Sops to the SSC’s resolving a long-standing resource monitoring shortfall.

MILSATCOM Joint Terminal Engineering Office (SMC/MCE)

Provided Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) services to the Joint Terminal Engineering Office (JTEO) in Mclean, VA. Assisted in integrating terminal designs and architectures for the protected Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) systems.

While supporting the MILSATCOM Joint Terminal Engineering Office (SMC/MC), provided engineering support to an AEHF International Partner baseband interoperability analysis effort by defining port configuration requirements for AEHF terminals and their compatible equipment types. Defined requirements acceptance criteria for a Presidential National Voice Conferencing VCRM to be used for End-to-End testing when baseband development is completed. Provided input and recommendations for the AEHF Flight 1, Flight 2 (A1, A2) test plan mitigating risk to the operational cutover of strategic and tactical communications.

Space and Missile Systems Center, AEHF Systems Program Office
Tactical and Strategic Lead providing systems engineering support for the Advanced EHF Mission Planning Element (MPE) by testing MPE software and generating discrepancy reports (DR’s,) providing analysis and accurate workarounds for the MPE software. Performs operational DR verification to ensure that delivered DR fixes meet operational needs and head off issue reporting from users. Participates in the DR assessment, prioritization and delivery scheduling process to ensure that required fixes are delivered in time to support key fielding milestones. Maintains a 24 hour 365 day/year MPE Help Desk (MHD) to provide technical support capability for the MPE software for Military users of the software.

Responsible Test Organization (RTO) lab manager performs communication planning and system level testing of the Advanced EHF Mission Planning Element (MPE) communications-planning tool. Performs systems administration duties maintaining and updating Mission Planning Software. Assigned as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to test and integrate the MPE’s mission to perform communications planning, resource monitoring and terminal image generation functions to support the operational mission of MILSTAR and AEHF satellite communication systems. Performs MPSS software Product Integration (PIT) and Day in the Life (DITL) software testing. Authors and reviews software deficiency reports IAW the Deficiency Reporting and Investigation System (DRIS.)
