Geotechnical Field Engineer
Implemented CQA and CQC for Cripple Creek and Victor mining company leach facility project (Phase 1) for geomembrane installation and Drain Cover Fill, following carefully the specifications to avoid any environmental impact caused by the chemical process used by the mine.
• Assisted the Civil Engineer in charge of the laboratory carrying out proctor test and sieve analysis to determine the quality of the soil that the geomembrane will be placed on.
• Supervised geomembrane installation: deployment, seaming (fusion and extrusion), destructive and non-destructive testing; all of these to ensure that the delivered works were performed with quality and efficiency.
• Watched the Drain Cover Fill placement to guarantee the soil gravel size was according to specification and avoid any other damage to the geomembrane.

Field Engineer
Performed the CQA and CQC for the geotechnical construction of a $130 million USD project for HYUNDAI AMCO, worked directly with the project and construction manager providing by both part clear and efficient communication to develop each tasks according to project specifications and to achieve the works as scheduled.
• Implemented a construction procedure for the project pit retaining walls backfill to fulfill the schedule timings, the works were achieved three days before planned and put us ahead of schedule.
• Proposed the drilling sequence for 145 in-cast piles to achieve it in the fastest pace possible, drillings were made in two weeks and led us to continue with pit excavations on time.
• Managed three sub-contractor companies by having efficient communication and clear understanding of each project task performed, arranged constant meetings to check project advances.
• Supervised steel structure erection, welding, bolt torqueing and leveling of the entire building facility.
