• Integration Lead for the Machinery Control Systems (MCS) onboard USS America (Landing Helicopter Assault; LHA6) -Amphibious Assault Ship
o Lead day-to-day testing of ships’ functionality and design of all local area network supporting equipment for system integration within the Land Based Test Facility (LBTF) with the intent to reduce cost/risk and increase quality
o Develop unique and descriptive plans allowing early integration and signal verification between shipboard software and the ship’s mechanical systems along with improving configuration management for understanding and use of computer languages and databases

Includes communication with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and various communication modules within controllers; identify trends using data analysis of signal status reports, part non-conformance reports, and software trouble reports
o Provide configuration, requirements, and interface managements for the Test and Trials Group and communicate with customers/vendors, internally and externally, to successfully support hull, mechanical, and electrical (HM&E) system integration with proper quality
