SUMMARY
I have over 8 years’ experience working in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering. Currently, I work as a Project Engineer for Skanska at a high-tech semiconductor manufacturing facility, improving products and services for our customers by using Lean Project Management and Mechanical / Electrical Systems knowledge.

Previously, I was a Manufacturing Engineer where I performed design reviews for manufacturability, Geometric Dimension & Tolerancing (GD&T) and acted as a QA auditor. As an Aerospace Intern, I obtained proficiency in Product Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Automation & Testing. Before earning my BSME, I served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years as a Technical Instructor / Supervisor on the Mechanical & Electrical systems of the Aircraft Carrier USS Ronald Reagan

● Performed buckling and frequency response testing to validate design goals.
● Applied knowledge of material properties to reduce cost and weight while meeting strength requirements.

UTC AEROSPACE SYSTEMS June 2012 – October 2013
Research & Development Intern Chula Vista, CA
● In an effort to reduce aircraft weight, conceptualized and designed a new horizontal firewall for the Airbus A350 passenger aircraft using both solid and surface modeling in CATIA V5. The new firewall design showed the realistic opportunity to reduce aircraft weight while adhering to FAA fire barrier and drainage regulations, as well as reducing the overall number of parts from the existing design.
