Statistical Process Control on the cases of road accidents in California February 2013- May 2013
• Implemented SPC tools on road accidents in California highways in order to find the factors which cause accidents.
• Collected and analyzed data of Highway accidents with help of Minitab software in order to use statistical tools effectively
• Analysis showed that the 75-80% of the accidents were because of over speeding, drunk and drive or sheer negligence of driver.
• The maximum accidents were occurred in time period of 5:00 Pm to 8:00pm in week days and in good climatic conditions.

Design for manufacturability in LED bulb manufacturing small industry August 2012- December 2012
• Implemented DFM in LED bulb manufacturing company in order to reduce the cost of the LED bulb to compete in current market.
• Collected data and mapped flow charts of different process in order to indentify non value added activities.
• Utilized DFM tools such as cross functional teams, Lean management, Value stream mapping, Total cost of quality, standardization etc.
• With application of all different Design for manufacturability tools, Achieved cost reduction in selling price by 30%.





Design of Experiments for Factors Affecting SMT Feeder Process Yield February 2012- May 2012
• Studied the SMT Feeder process in order to find out important conditional factors that affect the process yield.
• Designed an experiment using Minitab with 4 most important factors and 32 trials to find significant effect on process yield
• Analyzed the most significant factors with the help of Minitab results and Standardized Effect Plot, Main Effect Plot and Interaction plot.
• Concluded that factors Adhesive, Solder Temperature and Reflow Temperature had the significant effect on process yield.
