- Utilized my Failure Mode Analysis training to target the SMT machine as a source of error for misplacing the circuit board components
- Recognized the need for a quality procedure and proposed a drafted plan to the lead quality engineer through multiple meetings and technical presentations
- Verified that all procedure documentation met the ISO 9001 quality assurance system
- Result: Created a flow system that had not previously existed to improve quality and target root causes for future errors
Designed and implemented new automated testing procedures to test battery fuel gauge quality of “smart” batteries
- Analyzed circuit schematics to develop an automated testing procedure using LabVIEW software for different battery requirements
- Trained production personnel to properly perform the testing procedure and use the testing equipment
- Result: Provided customers with quality approved smart batteries with back up testing data to meet their specifications
