In September, 2015, I will begin a three month civil engineering internship with in California with Shimmick Construction. Shimmick Construction are a well-known contractor with a focus on heavy civil construction. I will be working under a professional engineer in the estimating office.

ENGG 1000: Civil Engineering Project, University of Queensland Spring 2011
Team Leader of six, Placed 2nd out of 30 teams.
Task was to design a bridge that could be dropped from a helicopter, quickly assembled, and deployed from only one side of a river in an emergency situation. Constructed a scaled down model to be tested.
