Re: Project Manager / Design Manager

Madam and/or Sir,
Teamwork is a keyword or buzzword used in many, many resumes; but it is an attitude which has been instilled in me after years of playing and coaching sports at all levels. Teamwork as I define it is; “Allowing every player the opportunity to succeed”. As a Manager or Lead; assignments are matched to employees which will offer a challenge, yet offer an opportunity for success. The challenge will bring struggles which allow the employee to grow while the success validates their efforts. This brings growth to the employee who rewards the Company with an investment now and in the future. My lead roles have been ones of a “working lead” where I facilitated needs at any level to advance the team whether it is modeling, drawing, checking, picking up marks or field work.
I am submitting my resume as requested (and have attached certificates earned) for your review and would like to present my results-orientated qualifications. Concerning my management and design capabilities, my colleagues and supervisors on numerous occasions have commented of the professional and productive services I provide the company regardless of the capacity I may serve.

My strengths and abilities also include:
• Loyalty to the company as shown with work history.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Communicate easily with clients, project managers/engineers, discipline engineers, other disciplines, vendors and field services (constructors).
• Self-starter and finisher of projects.
• Numerous projects involved interaction with clients and field services (construction).
• Job scope, estimating, budget, scheduling, field follow-up was required on past projects.
• Teamwork is not a “buzz word” with me, but a cornerstone of my attitude in the workplace.
• My experience has seen the product conceived, designed, fabricated, erected and put into service.
• My peers and contractors alike find my design and drawings accurate, complete, sensible and easy to read allowing for field expedition of construction without questions or re-work.
• Capable of handling predicament situations and providing appropriate plan of action, both in the office and in the field.
• Excel in producing the company’s requirement of error-free (95%) accuracy of reports, performing strong administrative duties, with efficient follow-up skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects in a timely manner exceeding company requirements, effectively assessing the company’s needs in the office and in the field. This accomplishment has been attained at the Project Manager, Design Manager and lead positions.

Research, development, customer interaction and problem solving are several of the strengths I possess which will allow me to perform my finest for you, your clients and Company.

Sincerely,
