Significant Projects
Project: Obtained Funding for Two Loudoun Water Reclaimed Water Projects, totaling approximately $1.8 million, through the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality’s (DEQ’s) Virginia Clean Water Revolving Loan Fund.
• Initial project scope was able to be completed under budget, so additional scope was designed and added to one of the projects to assure 100% utilization of the available funding.
Project: Developed Reclaimed Water Standards for a new water reclamation system, based on Virginia Administrative Code 9VAC25-740.
• Established the water reuse rates by presenting the recommendations of a study, including a public notification period, a public hearing and board action.
• Developed reclaimed water rates, rules and regulations, then revised into chapter 6 of the Engineering Design Manual, along with coordinated with internal stakeholder to establish approved reclaimed water materials and standard details.

Project: Reviewed design and provided construction administration for Willisville Sanitary Sewer Community System, a unique combination of collection system, small package treatment plant and disposal system, funded by Loudoun County.
• Construction administration for an 11 lot system to protect public heath for low income homes and a church.
• Worked closely with the County, regulatory agencies and community to bring the project to a low cost solution in a timely fashion.
• This project was high profile enough to draw the attention of the Washington Post; provided an interview to the Washington Post with less than one minute notice.
Project: Provided Construction Administration for Two Odor Control Studies to Reduce Odors Associated with Pumped Sewage
• Completed studies on schedule, within budget, and with results that were applied to existing facilities and those constructed point forward, significantly reducing odor complaints associated with pump stations.
Project: Reviewed designs, obtained permits, bid project, and performed construction management for the Brambleton Elevated Water Storage Tanks, two 2.5 million gallon steel hydropillar tank, and a 3 pressure zone pump station.
